Almaty - Almaty International Airport (ALA)

The airport is 15 km (9,3 mi) away from Almaty and can be reached by bus. Routes 79, 86, 92 and 106 all serve the airport from various points in Almaty city and the surrounding suburbs. You can also take a taxi directly to the airport.

Shymkent – Shymkent International Airport (CIT)

The airport is located approximately 13 km (8 mi) northwest of Shymkent, and can be reached by taking train line 12 or bus 12, 12A or 12B from the city centre. Taxis are also an option.
